NorCal Corals up in Redding is a great shop too! They have good buy 3 get 1 sale and other discounts if you buy a bunch of stock at once.

Yep, I have two tanks set up currently, Mixed reef, mostly SPS, and another with some softies, mushrooms, and way too many anemones. Once your tank is setup and stable, PM me, I'd like to make some space in my tanks! I'm in Chico.

I've been acclimating my 65 to my "new" radion xr30w gen 1's. I had no algae or diatoms and then I threw a finnex planted 24/7 light I had just to light it up and it apparently had a little more juice than I thought since now, even with my radions only at 10% brightness have a good amount of diatoms and the beginning of algae. I'll be able to put my CUC that's been in QT in there soon. ANYWAYS- what is a good SPS coral to get started with? I've really only done LPS. It's sort of on the fence depending on who you ask if a hydronopora is an LPS or SPS but I had one and it did really well until I attempted to move halfway across the country. But I can successfully keep the LPS that I've tried so far.

If you were local id give them to you.
Both coral are good indicators of your systems health. Easy to grow and form cool patterns.
I have a green acro that is bullet proof also. I have had it for 7 years now and cant give frags away fast enough so into the carx bucket they go.

nice! im glad this site is still going. i used to be ***** active when this was still a club site like 10 years ago. i just started back into it again and was hoping people were still on here. we should get some frag trading going ASAP!
