My dachshund ate all my grindalworms
I bought a small starter culture recently, but this one is very different from what I had before. They are much smaller and not as productive. If you have a thriving culture, let me know. I will buy a starter or trade a frag for it.

Oh no! That's a bummer. I was actually thinking of contacting you about keeping some myself and you were the only person I knew who keeps them. If no one else has them, I could buy a culture and try them out. If they look healthier than the ones you have now, I would gladly share some. Do you have any suggestions on where to try next?

I am not sure who are selling a good grindalworm culture right now. The only person who is selling it on eBay is the same person that I got the current batch of mine from. We should try posting a want ad on R2R breeders' group.

They were producing a lot of fruit flys so I threw out one culture and put remaining 2 in the garage. I will check to see if they are still alive. I have kept the soil moist but cut way down on feeding so they aren't up on top right now.

I saw a few new gindalworm starter culture offered on eBay today. I ordered one. If any of you want a subculture from it in two weeks or so, let me know.

I added some food last night. There are still some alive. I will scrap off a couple tomorrow if still want them.
