Anyone keeping Softie tanks?

What kind of lights are running. We have similar corals too.
I have 4 Radions and T5 lights. I am going to be swapping T5 soon so I am going to try a different combination.

I have 1 little tiny frag of pocillopora so I guess it doesn’t count as a softy tank anymore lol.

I am looking for people who primarily keep softies. After the 10 year tank video from BRS, there is a trend of looking for mentors around here.

I am looking for tanks that keep mostly softies so I can learn from them and grow as a hobbiest.

I am running a IM Nuvo 30l. Its been set up 2 weeks with corals now, transferred from my last setup.

Your tank is gorgeous and looks very healthy! Lov the anemones! Was it more than one to start or did your split? Mine has split three times now and looks very similar. I think your doing great with your tank! Thanks for sharing.

We have 4 AI lights, two older version and two newer. Our corals do ok for a while then just fade. Except the leathers. Here’s our tank. We are trying a few SPS to see what corals like our water and methods better. We can’t keep hammers or zoas the both melt or bail. Thanks for sharing about your lights.

Lovely tank MJC, do you have a build thread we could see? Interested to know how you have done it and maintain it :)

Following along! My first saltwater tank has been maturing for about 8 months now following the BRS/WWC hybrid method and I'm going for a nearly all softy tank as well. Its been a while since I saw your tank @MJC it looks absolutely phenomenal!

Does anyone know if it's possible to maintain nepthea in a bonsai fashion? I would love to have one but I only have a 13.5 gallon.

Thank you
IMOP you have two options.
1. keep it until it is getting to big then frag it and keep the frag and sell the remainder.
2. Frag it as it gets to big and sell the frags.
They are hardy corals and recover from fraging quickly.

This is one of mine I would just frag it at the red line to keep it shaped the way you like it.

Thanks for the tips and photos! I think I'll try a frag, see how it grows and go from there. I like the idea of trying to apply a bonsai type approach.
