Anyone kept Acans and had success long term?

I was wondering if anyone's successfully kept Acans more than 5 years or more? I had some in the past but they all eventually melt away. Real curious to know this. Thanks.

Yes it was way back in 2008. I fed them and everything but I didn't dose my tank and was a noob at the time. How long have you had yours?

I had to tear down my tanks a few years ago and sold/gave everything away, but had many over 5 years old at the time. A couple went to friends and i know they are still thriving and some would be over 10 years old now.
