I have one, I have had it for 3 years. They get big but he is abut 10'' and stopped growing. It is pretty friendly and eats any thing. One of my favorite fish.

We have one. She is awesome when it is time to eat she shows us her teeth and will eat from your hand. We got her a few years ago when she was tiny. She is a nice size now and her coloration is outstanding looks just like the picture.

These fish are gorgeous. They have a small group in the 20,000 gallon reef tank at Atlantis Marine World on Long Island. They are very striking. I have never seen one available for purchase.

Don't know anything about the vendor but Happy Coral has one in stock wysiwyg for $100 .....

I wanted one until a fellow reefer had one go crazy and kill his other tangs. I have too much vested in my fish to try one. He worked at a LFS right down the road so when he saw it pop up on his list he bought it. Beautiful fish though.

Then again you hear that about alot of tangs. If I didn't have so many I would give him a shot.

Bumping an old thread for conversation about this interesting fish. Does anybody have one? Where do you get them? I've never seen one before.

I had one for about a week 6 months ago. Did not play nicely with my fowleri tang. Out he went.
