Anyone know freshwater fish disease?

A friend of mine has a freshwater tank and has a goldfish with some lumps. She treated with tetracycline with no luck. She also has had the fish for 5 years now. Unfortunately that's all I know about the situation and I don't know anything about freshwater diseases to help her. Here are the pics I have in case anyone can help. Thanks!

I know next to nothing about freshwater diseases either. I can consult with my friends at work though that do. If the question isn't already answered by then anyway.

That would be greatly appreciated! To my knowledge, she has not yet resolved it. I recommended trying furan-2 with kanaplex and metroplex, but I'm not sure if that will help.

That's very likely a fungal infection, which is more of a "thing" with FW fish than SW. Your best bet would be to treat with Melafix & Pimafix (together). Those work a lot better on fungal infections than proper antibiotics.

Exactly. Usually from poor water quality. Goldfish are high bioload fish. I would do a 25 percent water change and start treatment. Should clear up in about a week.
