Kind of looks like a flame wrasse, carpenters would be my 2nd guess

do you think i will have any issues keeping him in a reef system. The local store told me he was reef safe than also DESTROYED the tank trying to get him out it was insane i almost told them to keep the fish but he was so nice i had to get him outta there.

You think he will pick at any corals?

Thanks there was mixed reviews around the web i was going to go with good with corals but watch out for snails. I just got a purple linckia starfish but that things huge i hope he doesnt mess with it. Will see

Purples are almost always Tamaria sea stars (not Linckia), but that's a seperate thread.

Should be fine with that.
