Anyone know what’s going on?

My tanks got this stringy algae stuck to lots of the surface including the rock. Anyone know what’s going on and what I can do about it?

Hard to tell from the pictures but you should do research on dinos. There is so much info here that I wouldn't even know where to start.

First step would be to examine under a scope to make sure its dinos. Then decide on a course of action to rectify.

Hopefully upon examining under a scope it turns out to be diatoms which are just a phase your tank will most likely pass through

I got to look at it under a microscope today, what do they look like to you?

I had a similar problem. It’s a stage and will pass. Just relax. Or copy my method and buy nine turbo snails and 7 conch.

There does look like a singular dino in there, but I wouldn’t worry about that. Agree with hair algae.

If I don't keep you on your toes who will.., this is what I get paid for
Using old stock photos from others, even introduce the microscope pictures.. to great success.

There's thousands of answers here on Reef2reef from algae to puffer fish... even jelly fish, sharks eggs to top it off.
That little magnifying glass top right will open a world of this aquarium life
