Suspected it to be a limpet too but this guy in my tank is hard on both side and I didn't notice any soft organ. Let me try to take a closeup pic when I see it next. Thanks.its a limpet, another grazer
Here is something closest (as I was researching) that resembles what I saw in my tank... it is called Madagascar Sun shellfish.. not sure if anyone seen it?depending on the angle we are looking it could be a coquina clam (Donax)

Mmm.. you could be right.. not able to find it anymore.It looks like the operculum of a deceased snail. RIP snail.![]()
