Anyone have an idea of what my feather duster worm is doing? The last picture is from a month ago and the middle was last week and the white one is this evening. Could this be normal? Is it just regrowing it’s chipped tube?

I have no clue but following to learn!

Looks like in one pic that it’s trying to leave its tube which is generally a sign that it’s stressed. Assure there is moderate water flow, not strong , no occupants in tank upsetting it and its able to obtain fine foods as its a filter feeder. Typical feeds are zooplankton, phytoplankton and most ciral foods

To me he looks to be building his tube longer to get to better flow.

Unfortunately my clown fish decided it was a tasty treat and eat him shortly after I posted this

this is what happened to mine back in my smaller tank, i'm thinking about trying again now that they've settled well into the 90g (its been over a year in the big one and they completely ignore one half of the tank)
