I have heard a lot of success stories from people that use f-aiptasia. A lot of people use berghia nudibranches or peppermint shrimp, also (keep in mind that not all peppermint shrimp go after aiptasia and many start going after corals)

What’s so bad about them? They don’t seem to be harming anything, and have clearly been there awhile I just never noticed until now.

I bought two cleaner shrimp in the past the first passed because I introduced it way to early I thought and the second I thought would be fine be he didn’t last very long either came home to bristle worms eating him so I’ll stay away from shrimp, for their sake. I’m not a big fan of “bottled relief” for anything really. And I thought Nudibranchs were bad for tanks too... I’m confused.

I think most have these pop up occasionally. I use Aptasia-X and it works well. The problem with nudis is they will starve to death when the aptasia is gone, so need a plan to do something with them (LFS, other firend reefer etc) when they have completed removing the Aptasia. If left unchecked they will rapidly multiply. Good luck with them.

Ok so I don’t think it’s Aiptasia. Here’s two pictures of one of the from the side with polyps out and not. Thanks

Cool. Did a little research. Seems that everyone is on the fence about them. Should I just let them run there coarse? Sounds like they will just die off.... maybe.
