I just noticed these bugs in my tank a couple days ago and they seem to be multiplying quickly. I have looked around a lot but can’t seem to figure out exactly what they are any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Amphipod good CUC.
Ok thanks I was wondering if there were some kind of pods. I don’t have any fish in my tank right now because I had velvet and only 2 of my fish survived and there in QT. Do you think that’s why I’m seeing them like I am? No fish to eat them? Because I’ve never seen them before

Yes. I would think so. Lots of different fish readily consume them so when their are no natural predators, they will be more visible.
If it was me, I would feed phytoplankton regulary to keep them populating. And add more pods while the fish population is down. A good pod population is a wonderful thing to have.

Ok so I am back again asking for some help with these guys.. I am really thinking these are not pods! They are everywhere in the front of my tank and all over my candy cane coral. Whatever they are they are biting my coral and crawling all over it in just a couple days my coral has really gone downhill :( I was doing some searching and found that possibly they might be euphyllia bugs. They look exactly like them. I have got some more pictures of them and they Coral so it shows what they are doing to it. I have never seen pods in my tank and I don’t feed my tank pods so for them to be that abundant seems odd.. and the fact something is biting my coral.
