Can you see anything in the sacs? Do they have any contours or are they perfectly round?

No they are not perfectly round. They seem to be quite irregular in terms of size and shape. I have not tried to see what is in them at this point in time. In the picks I posted it is the same frag plug and there are 4 maybe 5 of the so called sacks on the stem of the frag plug. There is one sack right side that is connected to the plug stem and underside of the actual flat part of the plug. If that helps.

No I really don't think that it is bubble algae starved of light,there is bubble algae on the top of the plug.

Renee, that plug was in the tank that I had that spider infestation in. That's why I am trying to figure out what they are.

Eggs would be more uniform. Bubble algae sounds more like it.

Ok, I have not come across any other type of pest in that system,and I did have 4 or 5 different types of snails in there. That did reproduce several times cause I was over run with snails.

Do you recall what kind of snails they were? I want to say Collumbellid snail eggs, but I'm not sure if that's correct or not. Do any of the pictures in the link below look familiar?

I don't know the names of all the snails I have but I can take pics. I looked at that link very fast but it does look very similar. I will do a more thorough reading in a few. My phone is almost dead so I gotta hook it up to the charger real quick.
