Anyone know what these guys are?

Just switched out the carbon in my canister filter and saw little white things kinda stuck everywhere. Pulled out the 1st coarse sponges and it was covered. Then a saw a couple big guys moving around, white things look like egg sacs to me? Please help! Lol

Pineapple sponges and amphipods. Both good guys

Thank you for responding so quickly. I was thinking amphipods but I'm also not sure how they would get into the tank as they are currently in the 1st stage of the filter

I mean, go from filter to the tank. They'd have to get through the whole filter system
