Later it looked as though it had cabbage leaves on one end so im guessing maybe a sea cucumber or some type of arrow worm or flatworm? It is about 4 inches long and is flat and has mouth on underside at one end.
Looks harmless but not sure..
thanks for viewing.

Well i did until recently, yes it housed a coco worm feather duster. But the two large white/red frills had shrivelled up and dissapeared. On closer inspection this has a mouth at one end so i dismissed it out of hand for that reason.Hmmmm.. thanks that must be it!

He probably dropped his "plume" and the shriveled stuff are parts of the anatomy you don't often see, as it's obscured by the plume.

Is there any surefire method of getting them back in their tube? Will it build a new one? or should i quarantine it with its tube and just hope it takes up residence again? Would like to know your thoughts..
cheers,
-Les

Having said all that though I remember seeing this thing a little over a year ago living under a rock( just recall it was same color but about 3 inches at that time. Now it turns up under another rock at 4 inches. Has anyone ever witnessed a coco worm living outside of its tube for extended periods?
cheers,
