Found this on my Australian live rock. Still very small but pretty. Looks like a feathery birdie from Badminton lol.
Any idea what it is and how large or fast it grows?

Thank you!

Does it bring any benefit to the tank and how fast do they grow and how big? Are there several types of feather dusters?

Not really a benefit per se, but it is a harmless filter feeder, and a lot of people intentionally buy and add these things. There are numerous different kinds of feather dusters (including some very pretty ones), some get decently large, but most are pretty small.

They are filter feeders, they don't harm anything but if you don't like it you can always break it off at the base or glue the hole shut. I just leave them as I like them as well, you can buy "giant" feather duster worms as well that have cool colors

Oh wow very cool. Ok just wanted to be sure they wouldn't cause issues in tank. Thank you all!
