Noticed this on the rock last night. It’s the only one I can find. It’s stuck to the rock pretty well, it doesn’t just brush off that for sure.

This was Marco dry rock, so whatever it is came in on a coral or one of the snails.

It’s a bit tough to see. Does anyone know what it is? Good or bad?

Hard to say, got a photo under whites? The shape of somewhat of a spiral with a tube coming off makes me think vermetid snail but it looks off to me.

here you go…

Possibly a limpet. Does it move?

It kinda uncoils a little sometimes. When I found it last night it had a little brush kinda thing sticking out of it. You can kinda see that in the first picture I posted. It doesn't leave that spot though, it's stuck to the rock there. I'm about to do a water change, I'm going to try and take it out.

I see, definitely not what I was thinking. Maybe it's some sort of sipunculid worm. Post up more photos if you're able to remove it.

It's gone now. I tried to gently take it off the rock when I did a water change this afternoon. It wasn't coming off gently. It finally broke apart while trying to get it off. Whatever it was it had a hard shell. I had to clamp on it pretty hard and it finally just disintegrated.
