Anyone know what this is ? Good or bad ?

Does it retract if you touch it? Does it stay that same size or does it get smaller with less light?

I touched it and it closed up but I wouldn't say it retracted into the rock, it hasn't gotten any smaller only larger, 2 months ago it was less then half the size
