Anyone know what this is?

My niece was looking in my tank (which cycling) and she saw these brown tubular things. Anyone know what they are? Are they something I should be concerned with?

My ammonia levels are pretty high right now and these weren't here on Friday. They'll probably just die off during the cycle right?

Button polyps. Some folks like them, others like myself can't stand them. They will spread like crazy and choke out other coral if you go that route.

I would say you have a good chance of them pulling through your cycle, most zoas/palys are fairly hardy. Good luck!

If you don't like them just pull them of the rocks while there's only a few and manageable.
