Anyone know what this is ?

My mates clown fish has something wrong and I can't ID what it is.
White around eye and gills with a small part near Base of its tail.

That looks like some kind of infection. Just for future reference, fungus isn't something we encounter in the salty world.... that's more typicle of freshwater fish.

I would pull her for QT and treat with kanaplex. He may want to add furan 2 and metroplex to that to widen the spectrum. I'd probably go ahead to do all three. Follow the directions on each package, add a small powerhead pointing at the surface of the water for extra oxygen to the water while treating. Keep up with water changes and adding vitamins like Selcon or Vitachem is always a good idea.

Yes thank you, I deal with fresh and salt water forums. Thismorning I was pretty active in both, and I have mild to severe dyslexia. So I usually have to go back and proof read everything a lot. I didnt do that this time. I should have said a bacterial, but wrote a fungal. I try to call on experts and groups to keep myself in check. Glad the team hopped on to help Swally and the maroon out!
