Anyone know what this is?

Anyone know what type of coral this is? Someone at my LFS gave it to me and I can't figure out what it is.

Second photo looks like maybe a chalice of some sort ... first one, the snail looks rather whelk-ish to me. They're generally not a welcome guest.

Still looks like a whelk.

They're carnivores, but unlike the scavenging Nassarius snails ... they're hunters.
