Anyone know what this is?

Hi, I’m hoping someone can tell me what I have growing on my rock? Seems to be some sort of algae? Is this bad?

I have some of it on a part of the tank glass too

Looks like Cyano to me.
If you blow it with a turkey baster, does it come off?
If so, that’s Cyano, a bacteria not algae, normal in new tanks, maybe there’s an imbalance in nutrients.
Provided you make SW with 0 TDS RODI, Check nutrient levels, blow off, suck it up, keep up with weekly water changes, it will pass.

It try to suck it up in the baster, instead of blowing it off and spreading the spores

Thank you guys, oh I wouldn’t be surprised. I have not had a fun time at all with this tank. Nothing goes right and everything has died except a damsel and 2 hermits. My fish had ich and lost its entire tail and almost both fins but now is doing great. Didn’t think he would bounce back!
