This appeared in my coral quarantine tank. There are other smaller green ones like it stuck to the side of the tank. The tank is clean, newly established/cycled tank. The only thing in it is a GSP frag that has overgrown its plug and a 6 head Rasta Zoa. They were both put in a couple weeks ago at the same time and both were dipped for 15min in CoralRX beforehand.

Is it a pest? Like I said there are others like it but smaller.

I’d put money on bryopsis. Syphon it out with flow off to prevent it from spreading or treat tank with reef flux rx.

Thanks, it does look like bryopsis! I just ordered some ReefHD Reef Flux. In the meantime I’ll try to suction it out. I think it’s on the GSP plug as well. Thank goodness its a quarantine tank! These are my very first corals.

No problem. I ran reef flux in my tank per the recommended dosage and none of my inhabitants were affected. I have anemones shrimp coral and fish. You should be ok with the couple of corals you have. Best of luck!
