I looked at that flatworm thread, but it only looks similar.

20 gal Waterbox Cube
Filter:
1. Filter sock
2. poly-fil and carbon
3. Chemi-Pure and poly-fil
Fish:
2 Clowns and a Foxface
Hermit crabs (5)
Sea Snails (4)
Tank age: 66 days

I even hung my Sicce 5 stage canister water polisher on it and they won't go away!! I have live rock also, but they were there before I added it. I've seen a couple of them move/swim. Fish are thriving, and purple coraline showing up everywhere. Parameters are in check.

I just want clear water.

They're actually white. I've seen the Foxface eat them, but the clowns spit them out.

Are you talking about the small white specks on the glass? I can't really ID from the picture, but look up copepods to see if that is what you have. Also, it could be Acoela flatworms.

It is pretty difficult to determine an ID from the picture.

I don't think so. These are slightly better. They don't typically stick to the glass. They're in the water.

...and did you say you have a foxface in a 20-gallon cube? It must be tiny to fit for now, and I hope you have a plan for when it grows since they grow pretty fast when small and will definitely outgrow that tank. I'm not part of the tang police to round up borderline issues, but this case seems definite to be a problem eventually.

Sorry, I hope I am not detracting from the ID request.

Hmm, I really don't know for sure, but I don't think flatworms are commonly in the water column. Note that I am not very experienced but do spend a lot of time reading and researching.
It seems to me that copepods or amphipods are a more likely ID.

I will look more into that, and thank you for your time. And yes, Horacio (the Foxface) is moving to a 100 gallon soon.
