@Clawfish Slowly turn your chalice so you can see the mouths on the other side- I think @mdb_talon is right

I agree with the above, looks like a feeder tentacle or possibly a stinger. Keep forgetting if they’re the same thing or not, however it’s definitely coming off the chalice and looks like a tentacle.
