Almost looks like a cobweb of some sort? Bacteria? Don’t think it’s vermetids, Rock was dry rock from Caribsea, 2 months in all parameters in check

I don’t, no corals, only two hermits, two nassarius, two oscellaris and one tail spot blenny

IMO it looks like slime from a snail but could be something else I'm not familiar with.

Thought of that too, wondering if I need to get more flow to this area of the tank?

You might, or you might have just happened to catch it right after one of the snails surfaced or something like that, I personally wouldn't be concerned unless you start seeing more of it.

Thought that at first but my tanks very new, doesn’t have much and I started with dry rock so unsure of how they would’ve been introduced, no corals yet or anything to be hitchhiked on except maybe a few nassarius snails and hermits. I ended up using a baster and blowing it off the rocks as well as redirecting my flow, hoping it won’t come back

That is vermitid or some type
Of snail webbing. Even if you have one they can extrude that material.
