Is there a body and legs? (That's kind of what it looks like in the picture)? Or just several legs/tentacles? Or are the "legs" an illusion in the photo and you're just asking about the "blob" in the center?

Yes, it looks like it has a body and legs. 8 of them. I just can't find anything alike yet.

Can you remove the critter from the algae with tweezers and place in a container? I don't know what it is, but hopefully someone will be able to assist.

Now, it’s pretty late and I’m on my phone here, but are you sure it only has eight limbs there? It looks more like it has 11-12 tentacles to me, so, currently, I’m inclined to think it’s some kind of anemone.

We opened it and we lost it. We couldn't find anything else in the chateo...
