Anyone "peel back" or unshade baby polyps?

I have some Zoa that develope a new polyp every week or so I swear while others take mooooonths... A lot of times when a new one sprouts it's covered most of the day by the "adult" polyp. Has anyone ever figured out a way to decrease shading or improve growth rates of baby polyps?

I think the colony shares nutrients so it doesn’t really matter.

Some people talked about a stress factor when fragging Zoas. The new frags would go into hyper growth for a little while then settle down. So if you keep fragging your Zoas would grow exponentially faster than just letting one colony go.

Also, They will feed on small particles Target feeding definitely helps.
