I had the white lights on my 120 watt fixture go out on me and the fixture is under warranty . I bought them on Amazon and the company I purchased them thru says they will send a replacement but I have to pay to ship them (which I understand), and I also have to send them $10 for a "restocking fee " plus $20 for shipping. Just kind of erks me they don't mention this anywhere under their warranty information. It's going to cost $50 bucks...almost. 1/3 of what they cost originally. I was wondering I could get a better deal going thru Taotronic directly. So I just wondered if anyone else has been thru this.

Thanks !
Mike

That's the down side of buying cheap through Amazon. What company did you use at Amazon so I can be sure never to use them? I know one vendor here, and probably others wouldn't treat you that way. I got a shipping label emailed to me so I didn't pay for the return shipping, and they sent me a new fixture free. They even offered if I wanted to pay for the new fixture they would ship it right away and then credit my account when the return got back to them so I wouldn't have to be with out a light. Not bad for an economy level fixture supplier. Good luck trying to deal with TaoTronics. Many Chinese factories would much rather shift the warranty issues onto the distributor, Jebao comes to mind immediately.

The first name is SUN, last name is TEK, if your looking on Amazon you can figure out the rest :( It would not bother me if they stated the terms of the warranty. I will try to lean on them using amazon but it is probably futile.
