Hey guys, I have a 260 Gallon tank. It is roughly 6L x 3W x 2H. My rock is stacked so I have 2 large islands. The center section of the tank is somewhat open with no rock but has the overflow box. Anyway I currently have 2 XF-150's. Both are horizontally mounted at the top (one on left and one on the right side). Overall I get pretty good movement, but I have noticed that since my tank has started to grow with corals I have some spots that don't get the movement I would like. This occurs about 1/3 from the bottom on both sides.
So I was thinking of adding some more flow, or maybe re-configuring my gyres. My first thought were to put two Neptune WAV pumps on the back and point them at an downward angle towards...one pointing down-left and the other pointing down-right. The other idea is to get a smaller Gyre and run it in the center pointing towards the front. And of course re-configuring my 2 XF-150.
I am looking for ideas so don't be shy.
