Anyone still using an old school AquaController Jr? I want to upgrade to a new Apex, but I haven't pulled the trigger because I'll be honest, this old thing works pretty good still! The only thing I don't like about it is it doesn't run dosing pumps well because the OSC function kind of sucks.

No, but if you are selling it let me know, I had the first version of the other brand and it finally went out, I have been looking for one of these.

I actually have a BRAND NEW aquacontroller Jr if you're interested. I bought it around 10 years ago, and was going to setup a new tank until I got accepted to grad school which caused me to stop my build. I just pulled it out of storage and plugged in the power cord to the controller and it turns on perfectly.

Could either of you tell me what kind of power supply it uses. I just bought one off someone but it was missing the DC power supply. Hoping to pick one up and make it run.

It is an " Input 120VAC 60Hz 4.5W Output 9 VDC 200 mA part number 109021 Class 2 transformer 3D81 E175399" if you want I can text you the picture PM your phone number if so.

I recently started using one I had in storage brand new for many years also. Does what I need it to just fine. Only thing I hate is the leap seconds.

Prior to the new one I was rockin a used one that I had for a couple years(also had use from many years ago). Still didn’t have any issues but sold it to use the other. I have an apex classic that the display went out on. This old school controller Is holdin it down.

What is the purpose of Leap Seconds? is it best to just ignore it?

I think the clock is inaccurate so this stops the clock from shifting
