Looking to switch to a gravity ATO since the float valves on the ATO I own currently don’t fit in my water box. Anyone got any experience/ recommendations? Currently interested in the plastic water bottle designs.

I have been using the one below in my quarantine tanks for the past few years. Since I broke down my main display tank in February, I have been using them in my quarantine as my now main display tank. It’s a 10 gallon rimless and I love the things! Never failed me. Make sure you get the right type of water bottles. I have taken two different 10 day vacations this year and just use four of them for four bottles.

I normally use a 500ml bottle with the lane torn off so it’s a bit more esthetic:)

Mine has been gravity with a float valve for well over 20 years.

I did add a solenoid to the mix about 10ish years ago since my RO tank is 275g and if the float sticks open that would be bad.

I did the same on my old display, float and a 25 gallon tote if RO in the closet behind the tank wall. My new tank is a IM Fusion 40 pro AIO. I have not set it up yet, but I did buy a 3-d printed small bracket and bought a small float valve. In the currently dry back sump, it appears it will work! Really hoping as I’m not to keen on using anything but gravity fed.

The water bottle ATO works, but its only as good as the size of the bottle. the biggest is the 2 litre evian bottle. Even on my 5 gallon tank, I had to refill the bottle every 3 days. I tried it on my 15 gallon, I had to refill it every 2 days.

So, its basically good to let you get away for a weekend, but would still need a better option for a week long vacation.
