Anyone tried O2 injection?

So its obvious that corals grow a ton faster with less CO2 and more O2 in the SW.

Anyone ever try injecting O2 thru a regulator O2 canister thru a 1/4in tube into an airstone?

Maybe have the O2 regulator come on for 3mins every hour?

I actually thought about doing this a few years ago when I was running a calcium reactor to minimize pH swings....

oxygen doesn't have anything to so with your pH. Adding more oxygen does not mean there will be less co2.

Adding too much oxygen can cause gas bubble disease.

I remember reading something about it, I believe it was asked in these forums recently.
I strayed away because of the possibility of an O2 rich environment bomb, the thought of the Apollo fire under my stand..

Maybe if you used it as a part of the skimmer air intake it would have enough contact time to make a difference. I don't think running it through a airstone would make much difference at all.
