I had a 6 bulb t5 over my 55g QT which has local stock and corals in it all the time, and an Eco Tech Radion led ($750) over my 24g frag tank. Back in Dec 2012 I switched to EverGrow D120 leds ($180) over both. Both tanks were doing just fine for 6 months. I saw the OceanRevive Arctic S026 right when it was introduced and got one to try. I put it over my frag tank. Corals grow just as well as with the D120 or the $750 Radion! But more importantly, it gave a more even distribution of light. The D120 has 55 leds in less than 50 sq in of fixture, the S026 has 48 leds spread out over almost 100 sq ins of fixture. My hang over the tank, no canopy, and the glare that comes off every led fixture I've used (that have glass to protect the leds) is annoying. The S026 doesn't have that problem, so it's MUCH easier to look at, especially in a dim or dark room! And the D120 ran much, MUCH cooler than the Radion (I expect better from a $750 fixture), but the S026, run 8 hours at 100% (my test, not over my corals) was all of 2 degrees above room temperature (78 in the room and 80 for the fixture case). And all you have to do is look at it and you know it's going to look better hanging over your tank.
I liked it enough that I got 2 more for my QT and moved 1 D120 to my refugium and sold the other 2. I give it a big 2 thumbs up, and I love my EverGrow fixtures (I still have 2 EG IT2080's over my 180g and an IT2040 over my anemone tank. I'm just waiting for OR to make a light with a controller or one that will work with a reef controller.
