Anyone use a laser on mushrooms?

Im glad i read this thread. I have a few (too many) green Rhodactis i need to terminate.

Take my word, they will take over your tank and sting and kill any corals they touch. I hate them, I removed i would says hundreds when i tore down the tank and some have returned. I guess I will try the Kalk paste first then laser if no success.

Safer way is the injection. If your using the laser then yes there are “SPECIFIC ” glasses
Here’s a vid of what glasses and where you can get a decent laser also

Can I kill these zoas with it or will they release toxins in the tank

Ok, so my mushrooms were taking over some of my rock. I tried the laser that I have. So far today, I have fried a bunch of them. You can see them burning under water and making popping sounds. If they are bigger mushrooms, they turn a grey color. I doubt these will come back. If this is a great tool for a removal of them, then it would be nice to keep mushrooms and then zap the ones you don't want.

I have fried a bunch today with my laser. You can hear them burn and pop. They look dead and fried.
