Let me know what you think of it, experiences with it, pics of it in display tank? Etc! A local reefer has been strongly encouraging me to put some in my display tank rather than making a small refugium with chaeto in half of my middle compartment in the back of my biocube 29.

I have some (nemastoma) in my DT, it looks quite nice and is very manageable. little pieces break off now and then but they just get stuck in my powerhead and I just pull it out and throw it. It grows fairly fast for me as well. Here it is on the right corner.

I've been trying to find some. No luck. I would say its worth having. :-)

Check out pacific east aquaculture I bought some from them and I think they have some back in stock.

Send prepaid label for small box ... For 2-3 day shipping 15-20 bucks and I will send you a piece ,.... About half soft ball or larger... I throw the stuff away.

Checkout Unique Corals, they usually carry it.

Love the stuff. Likes a bit darker range of lighting, handles very clean and clean-er water with ease. Loves flow.
Not very good at nutrient uptake, but still looks amazing. Deep red is the healthy color, lighter coloration and it's not doing too well.

Turbo snails will eat that stuff in a heartbeat, keep them away from it. Had some in my display and was gone the next day with a turbo sitting in it.

I have some in my fuge along with Chaeto. Does really well under a screw in LED bulb. Nice dark red with orange tips, cool looking stuff.

I keep mine in my fuge and it glows red under my Kessil Tuna Sun.

I keeping it my nem tank does real well under radion

I was keeping it in my Display, but had to remove it because my Blue Tang and Starry Blenny were eating it all. It is really nice and stands out in the Display. If you can keep it in the Display, I would recommend it. It brings out some nice reds and oranges on the tips. You can pick some up from fellow reefers here from time to time, that's were I purchased mine from. Here's a pic of when I had some in my Display.

I run it in the fuge of my 125. I try to keep my set up simple. I have it under a screw in LED in a heat light fixture (clamp on). I have noticed that it needs to be harvested every 2 months or so - otherwise mine will not grow. Mine has keep my nitrates down. I havent had any issues with it and have been using it for years. I used to have it in my display but it becomes a tasty treat for the tangs.
