I work at petco in aquatics and we just started carrying a lot of stuff from Fluval, among which was some LED lighting fixtures. Some are just basic fixtures for small freshwater tanks, then there are larger ones with tons of little LED's for reef tanks.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any of these reef capable Fluval lights on their tanks, and could tell me how they like them.

How about a link to the fixture you are asking about and telling us what size tank you want to light with it and what kind of corals you want to keep?

Just because it's a name brand product like Fulval doesn't mean it's really good enough. Just look at the Marineland leds, a big name in the trade with a pretty good reputation and they sell junk leds of 10g and 20g tanks! I'm not saying Fulvul is in the same boat with Marineland, just saying don't be convinced they are good just because of the name brand.

And a year ago nobody had even heard of EverGrow, or Reef Breeder or OceanRevive (the newest kid on the led block) and they are all quality led fixtures at very reasonable prices.
