anyone use mangroves for nutrient reduction

just curious who uses them i just ordered some from reef cleaners.

I use them in 6 of my sumps along with macro with very good results the only problem being that they grow up and have to be trimmed

I have a multi tank breeding setup in the basement feeding a 275 gal fuge also running
4 other frag tanks each with separate refugiums so I can control the parameters of the tanks
Closer than I would if I had a central then I have 2 display tanks each running a separate
Fuge and various smaller tanks without fuges and I have mangroves in all my refugiums now I don't have any
One system with just mangroves so I cannot attest to the effectiveness of them by there self but running them with macro
Has been working great it might be a neat experiment to try running only mangroves in one system
maybe ill give it a try and let you know how it goes
