anyone use Pohls Xtra?

from what Ive read it seems to work awesome. Would like to hear others opinions though. Im trying to keep all my dosing down to just the basics (2-part, Mag, 1 drop of Lugols) and this would be the final thing being dosed. Worth it?

I have the Zeovit Nano pak being delivered Tuesday and the dosing will begin. I hope it works as well as what I've read about it.

i was going to buy the nano pack but my lfs was out.

instead i was only able to get the amino acids and pohls xtra. this is the only product i will say is worth the money besides calk, alk, mag ya know the essentials.

within 5 days i saw a slight increase of color. it is kinda hard to describe. mainly the color became more vivid. my lps and sps constantly have feeders out.

if i miss a day and forget once i do dose the aa and pohls xtra within 15 mins i see increased PE

the only drawback for me has been an increase is algea growth. before dosing i had none. now i have a little and had to buy a clean up crew.

i would def reccomend to a freind and advise to use in small amounts especially when first starting. also it is important to try and dose each one several hours apart if you buy more than just pohls xtra

thanks for the review. Ill just be dosing the basic stuff and this. Just to keep it simple. I currently am battling algae and just ordered some Microbacter7 so well see if that will help. Hopefully it will prevent the Pohls from producing algae

I use pohl's coral vitalizer and sponge power. I love them. In fact i ran out of sponge power and i could tell with in a week. I was thinking about trying extra next. I don't do the rocks though.

Oh i use the iodine too.

I think pohl's xtra is more for ULNS. I just started using them because my coral tank is fishless. supposed to help with color.

Are these products appropriate for ULNS with a large fish load? I have a tank that I have many fish. Using zeovit stones in reactor. P=0, N=1. Recently introduced my first (just a few small sps frags). Was wondering if I should use a product like this or will the corals get what they need from the fish poop?

I have been using most of the zeo products,I buy them on BRS when 25% off sale . I would start with sponge power and coral vit first I used all at the same time and could not tell which one worked best .
