Anyone use reef energy plus?

Use it love it, corals love it! Spot feed it in the tank about every 3 days... Just make sure to follow the instructions, it's been a component of of our coral growth successes.

Dose right before lights out. This stuff works good

Works well for me. It elicits a response from all my corals. Acans open up and feeder tentacles come out, blasto really puffs up, frogspawn and hammer mouths open, etc. I recommend the AB+ to everyone, great stuff.

We're fortunate that we have one that doesn't have a taste for corals. We run a mixed tank so the other half of the tank is SPS, I will say it was slow introduction of corals and by that time I had the valentini eating shrimp and clams, it's shown little to no interest in coral unless it has food trapped on it. Inverts on the other hand are open season, I can't tell you now many empty shells liter the sand... We're planning on introducing blue legged hermits this week I can only imagine what that might look like. Keeping my fingers crossed its not a massacre.

I have a question for the excellent reefer.
I am using Redsea's Leaf Energy Plus by hand, but recently decided to switch to automatic dosing with a dosing pump. So my question is, how many times a day is the best time to add the Leaf Energy Plus when dosing? Ensure that the total amount added per day is the prescribed amount.

(1) Add as little as possible for 24 hours in small portions, adding small amounts so that the ingredients are always in the water.

(2) Add small amounts in two or three batches.A certain amount can be added in some bulk (although the concentration is less than the prescribed amount). Also, the ingredients will be in the tank for a longer period of time than once a day.

(3) You can add it once a day, for example, in batches when the lights are off, to get the highest concentration in the water, but it is temporary.

I feel the original product design was based on (3), but I'd like to hear your opinion.

I prefer to add it once a day, and I turn off my skimmer and return for 15 minutes to let it absorb in.

My corals give a very strong feeding response to it, so I usually spot feed right after.

I see. I can't automate the on/off control of the skimmer in my system right now.I'm of the opinion that once a day is a good idea.I interpreted that as stopping the skimmer because you want to keep it at a higher concentration.

I just purchased Reef energy plus and the expiration shows 0822 20. The vendor said this is the European Exp system and it’s good until 08-2022. Does this sound correct?
I know this is old, but for anyone wondering, yes. That is correct.

It was hilarious how many people I saw on Amazon with one star reviews claiming they got expired bottles because it said 0322 15, etc. The last number is the lot number! In my example, it’s good until March 2022. It wasn’t even around in 2015! lol
