I have the CPR Aquafuge HOB refugium. I am new to salt water, just started my tank in October, but so far I like mine. I did make one change though, the pump comes with several different attachments and the instructions said to use the longer connector, we’ll it was so noisy that I went out and bought a new pump. I could not connect the new pump and wound up using the original pump but the short connector, BIG difference. Pump is now silent. Just something to consider.

I looked at the cpr. The aquamaxx has a sicce. And I like it doesn’t show. I have a sump but no room for refugium.
