Just switched from reef crystals to tropic marine bio active and wondered if there is any opinions out there on it

My only opinion is that if you think they organics they add are useful, you should use the salt water soon after mixing so they are not consumed by bacteria while sitting in the mixing barrel.

For the same reason, it is one of the few salts (along with RC) that should be kept aerated after mixing to prevent potential stagnation. :)

Well that works out for me because whenever I do my water changes I get my barrel heated and mix the salt and it goes in the tank within 30 minutes pretty much once it's nice and clear

I was just wondering if it's worth the price difference because it is quite a bit more expensive

i have been using this salt since a year now , i love it , my reef is doing great with it for me worth the change compairing to red sea salt.
