Anyone used ESV nitrate??

I have been using neonitro and ok but the site I am ordering from went out and try to give esv a try. There are apparent several types of nitrate addictive, calcium nitrate, potassium nitrate and maybe more.

I constantly need to dose 2-3ppm weekly to off set my high phosphate.

The ESV product is a good choice, as is sodium nitrate. I'm not a fan of potassium nitrate unless you are measuring potassium as it will rise with each dose.

Hey Randy, based on their description, it’s calcium nitrate and you already helped me out on that if I only raise 2-3ppm weekly, it will only increase very minimal in cal and alk.

now on a side note, I am running my light in the fuge (caulerpas) for about 10 hours and my nitrates flow at around 10-12ppm, but I would like it to be 15-18ppm, should I reduce the light period or leave it? If I change it, will my phosphate rise? (Phosphate is at around .12)

just want to see what others have experience on this.
