Anyone used Silicone to aquascape?

I was wondering if this would work. --> Aquarium Maintenance & Repair: Perfecto Manufacturing Silicone Sealer

It seems cheaper than super glue and easier than drilling + acrylic rods.

Let's hear opinions!

You couldn't use live rock since silicone has to cure for 24 hours

If you got that dry rock from brs you could build a nice structure and then place live rock onto your structure some how.

I don't know how well the silicone would adhere to the rock but if you are doing a larger structure I'd use the marco cement. IMO you don't need to drill and use rods. A buddy of mine gave me some rock that he wasn't going to use and some off it was cemented together, I tried to brake it apart and the cement wouldn't give. The rock broke before the cement did. I made a bonsai structure and used just the cement and it's still in one piece.
