Anyone used this Hanna checker?

Has anyone used this Hanna checker? Does this really work?
I have the most common Hanna checkers, Phosphate and Alk. They work great and I would love to have a Nitrate checker.

It appears to use the same method as the Hach DR3900 that BRS tested (cadmium reduction). BRS found it wasn't very reliable.

There's no Hanna nitrate "checker" that works in seawater. I don't know how well this photometer works.

The two Hanna checkers that you use have a long track record of being great kits.

But... I'd pass on that Hanna nitrate checker and use the Salifert kit that has a very good and long track record.

We unfortunately do not have a nitrate Checker for seawater as the chemical method we use for nitrate analysis is an adaptation of the cadmium reduction method which will not work properly in seawater.

We are looking into creating a nitrate Checker for saltwater and feel free to keep up to date on new products by signing up to our blog!
