I have in the past used a 8 bulb 48" ATI Sunpower over a 6 foot tank. It's was fine but you're not going to get wall to wall sps with it. I placed coral which required less light on the side with SPS in the middle and they all did fine.

that's what i'm thinking, in my experience ive fried some lps with t5
