Found a good deal on prime for one figured I’d give it a shot to compliment my t5 fixture, just want some other opinions on them

Forgot to mention that I’m running their nano light the asta 20 on a 5 gallon and looks great blends very well, the shimmer looks good too

I’ve looked into this light before. I’ve used the 20 at some point before. From what I’ve seen in this light is it’s heavy on blues and I believe they’re trying to copy the tuna blue. They do produce quality products IMO and they’re affordable.

Ok so the asta 120 came in today and I am super impressed by the boxing and the overall quality of the product. I ran the lights for about an hour and noticed the fixture was getting extremely hot, decided to take it down and noticed the fan wasn’t working. Opened the light up (it was only 4 Allen head bolts) saw the fan had popped off just just pressed it back into place and it’s working fine.

I rented a par meter today to see if 2 of these would be decent for a 48” tank, I’ll post my results of the par reading in a bit

Ok did par readings pretty much what I expected with the light 6 1/2 inches Over the water, here are my results on full power

Overall I think these are really good lights for only paying 85 dollars a fixture, the shimmer is nice and I like the full blue channels as well. I hope this semi review can help someone in the future on deciding if they should purchase these. As I found nothing online about them.

Thanks for sharing! Those levels are lower than most but it is a cheap light so not too bad! I am wondering how the quality compares to the micmol products? I am trying to find cheap small fixtures to mount with my halides.

I’m not sure to be honest never tried those Aqua micmols, these 120s are rather large have to use two hands to wrap around the light, and honestly that’s about what my t5s put out it’s just a more even spread.

Those 2 acros in that pic have takin off the last few months at about 220 par

And quality wise these things are a tank man, really durable all metal, and it comes with the hanging kit and goose neck, I mean for 85 bucks your not gonna beat it lol

Gotcha I just found one for cheaper. Sure more pics won’t hurt. I am still scanning through fixtures since I am new to led fixtures.

You know I just took par readings again before I return this meter add about 50 to the top rocks and 20-30 everywhere else, not sure if I didn’t have the power down or maybe just moved the light down some but that was 6 inches off the water

I also purchased this light. How is it holding up for you? What lighting intensity do you have it set on?

I returned it I ordered a second one two of them came doa so I sent them all back lol went with 2 noopsyche
