I don’t have a sump and I’m trying to not have any technology showing in the tank and I just can’t hide it, I was intending to put it in the tank, but it looks pants...

Looked into it, well fine but looking into isnt the same as trying. No problem only thousands of us who report positive can't be so wrong. No snake oil here I can assure you. Good luck with your chosen method and of course there is more than one way to skin a cat.

What amazes me is the fact that people come to conclusions about the effectiveness of a product without ever having tried it. I tend to take advice from aquarist that have been in the hobby for longer than most people on this forum have been alive. I'm also partial to believing what someone says when they regularly show photos and videos of their tanks showing proven results. I'm more of an old school person as I have seen what the end results are for following the methods of the pioneers in the hobby.

Evo 52 L / 13.5 G, no mechanical filtration usually, currently running floss after a re scape, if you look for the big paly to the right you will see the top of my mini oxydator, no waterchanges unless required, maybe I am just lucky but I couldn't get peroxide for a few months and it just sulked at me. 
Ermm look at my first photo Radions before them hysras before them Evergrows and before them black boxes. So you think its mainly down to my lights lol. BTW I don't "dump peroxide" in my tank and my use of Oxydator's are only one link in the chain of success over many years. you wouldn't believe the others either. But hey oh you believe whatever you wish.
Here's a pic from about 35 years ago using HQi lamps and Oxydators. This was at a time when the "experts" told us it was impossible to keep magnifica news more than a few weeks, the one in my tank I would have had at least to years when the photograph was taken. That was a time before many on here were still in gods pocket or in nappies.

Looks like he reserves the right to remain silent then. Shame as I think there are a few of us who would like to know the answer from somebody with such a strong opinion on Oxydator's.

@Mortie31. I use 12 percent - and on the packaging it instructs to refrigerate it after opening. The brand I use comes in an opaque bottle. Here is a nice quote from an article that goes over this:
"Hydrogen peroxide is relatively unstable and decomposes quickly.
In a sealed container, hydrogen peroxide lasts approximately 3 years. However, as soon as you open the container, it starts to break down. You might be surprised to learn that it’s only effective for 1 to 6 months once the container is opened.
To ensure it lasts as long as possible, store hydrogen peroxide in a cool, dark place. Don’t open it until you need to use it, and when you do open it, keep it in the original brown bottle. The bottle is designed to prevent light from making it decompose faster.
When you’re using it, make sure the liquid that’s left inside the bottle doesn’t come into contact with anything else. For example, don’t dip your finger or a rag into the bottle. This could make it decompose faster."

Lights the reason for success of a predominantly soft coral?? Please explain..

Thx I’ll check the labelling on mine... just a thought, what does the peroxide degrade to and would it still react with the catalysts? as my W still empties at the same rate of 6 weeks..
My last photo was a predominantly stocked soft coral with the odd LPS and SPS. Soft coral was the coral.of choice back in the day as SPS and even LPS were considered very difficult. My other tanks have mainly been stocked with SPS and LPS.
