Anyone using H202 as a maintenance dose?

Thanks for the input reefaholic

I read on a few different sites that short term use is okay to battle dinos but I was curious if anybody took the plunge and was trying a maintenance dose

for sure...yeah there are a few stories on the web about it..but the majority are freshwater hobbyists... the stories i read about on reef tanks pretty much said the risk to reward is so high its not worth it...

im sure someone on here has tried it and will hopefully give feedback..

that's what I'm hoping for too, to hear any and all feedback

I did read Troylee's thread and that's what got me thinking about it as an in tank maintenance dose, I've used it to dip frag plugs for a while but never put it in my tank

i dont use it as a maintenance but i have an will dip rocks an plugs an any thing else the gets gha on them, as a dip i will mix 50/50 an pour 100 right on the gha, two days it's gone
the only thing i have found that will not handle it is the Xenia, other than that does not hurt the zoa's

have not tried any sps's.

Thank You for your input scuba taz

I've dosed my tank with it and I have and will continue to dip all new frags in it if they are already "mounted". It's amazing how well it works in high doses. I've got pictures and video of my "dip" method. Long-term I don't see any harm in it because it breaks down so quickly in the tank. I mean honestly it's a very simple compound and in most regards fairly fragile.

After i beat dinos using h202 and lights out, i continued about 3 times a week for about 2 months. i have since stopped and haven't noticed a difference
