Curious to hear any hands on experiences. Pictures of fish on their site don’t seem promising, but marketing is good ....

I have three of them, and I love mine. One of the real strengths of these lights is that they have 9 individually adjustable channels, so that you can fine tune each channel to get the spectrum exactly how you want it. I think the picture on the website you are referring to came from a really blue setting, as the developer likes to run his tank pretty blue.

Here's what the colors in my frag tank look like.

The other thing I love about them is the reflectors that completely eliminate lateral light glare. I had AI Hydras on my Reefer 750 originally and I was blinded every time I looked at the tank from the couch. The ReeFis don't bother me at all, even at the highest settings.

The developer is a computer engineer, so the programming is rock solid and loaded with features. It's really easy to program and set up and stays connected to my WiFi. There is a ReeFi user group on Facebook and you can request new features for the software in real time. New updates come every few months. A small company like ReeFi can be nimble and quick to improve based on user feedback.

As you can see in Dana's testing thread for these lights, they deliver lots of par.

What else would you like to know?

That is very helpful thanks. How well do they dim down? Color shifts (like rations)? Cut of at some % above zero (like kessil)?

They dim in .01% increments, so you have very precise control over the spectrum. I'm not sure about a cutoff, but I don't think there is.

There are several presets that you can use for the spectrum, there is an acclimation mode, and there is an overall dimmer slider, where you can dim all of the LEDs in the same ratio. The overall dimmer slider was just added in the last firmware update after it was requested in the Facebook user group.

How loud is the fan?

98% of the time you cannot hear the fans at all. If the fans kick up to 100%, then it's audible across the room, but this is uncommon. It only does it for me when I have sun coming from outside passing over the light bar. The fans are very efficient and usually run at about 25%, at which they are whisper quiet. You can pull up the heat sensor settings anytime and see how the board is cooling. See below:

Thanks for all the insights. May have to buy one and try it out.

There’s nothing wrong with my ATI power module, but I’m considering the same thing. I’m also thinking about ATI Stratton or Phillips CoralCare 2, so many choices!

I love mine. I recently broke down my reef and setup in the new house with these lights. The colors and PE I get are unbelievable compared to my old Ocean Revives. All these pics are un corrected so they are a bit saturated but the color of corals is pretty close to what they look like in person. The pic of the purple acro was taken November 30th. As of today the entire base of the plug is already encrusted.
